he caught 1 saugeye, I caught 2 keeper perch and lost 4 big eyes in the hole, I would not say dave won. Plus it was my spot I drilled the 50 holes to find the fish, I found the spot on the spot, I figured out the color, action, and depth, set up everything and fed him all day. Only thing dave did was jump in my hole while I was taking off a fish, drink diet coke, and fish, now you tell me, and please feel free to post it so Dave realizes who out fished who. ::)

Instead of wicked tuna north vs south sounds like this will be wicked ice fishers north vs south. Hmm, has possibilities. Let the battle begin. Lol

;D So Dave puckered you into drilling all the holes ,  Sounds like you should either sharpen or replace your hooks . That way you can put more fish o n top of the ice . Sounds like Dave is crafty and is always on top . Maybe a trip to krogers would help . ;)

I don't think it was the hooks. He got so excited to see those hawgs he banged their head into the ice and knocked them loose. The presure to beat the Zen Master was to much.

We will go out soon and the saga will continue ;D

I like the North vs South. I will be the Captain of the south team.

Who wants to be the captain of the north team?

We will each pick a lake and alternate sites. Lets say 15 to 20 guys per team.

Total weight of all keepers caught wins.

I will come up with prizes.

The only issue is when? Joel and Nate have the new panfish series and I have the Expo in February. Maybe one lake this year and the other side chooses next year.

David

If Dave is captain of the south and the north would have me I'm fishing for the north.

We're always looking for a few good men up here

I'm in. But must warn the north that while I'm a panfish machine my Saugeye/walleye skills are rusty to say the least. Haven't fished for then in 3 years.  :o Maybe could do both. Each side weigh in top 5 or 10 fish in each category. If we have 10-20 guys for each team that would be plenty for each species. Thoughts?

A combo deal sounds like fun. Could be a good way for Dave to relax after the Expo. Hopefully we will still have good ice then. Hey Chris, when you and Dave fished Erie you were landing his fish for him. Didn't he return the favor when you guys fished Buckeye?
