Well as expected we have no ice, weather is crazy, we are seeing different patterns in the fish this winter. Not much in the western basin. We were able to fish the cedar point area over the weekend and were successful both days catching a boat load of nice fish. All came on pimples, raps, and cicadas. Lots of fish from 11 inches to 29.5.

Kinda one of those things your not going to find an answer to... All are privately owned. Some don't mind some do. Do some driving and "test" a few and see what happens. Talk to someone if they are around.

IMO when it comes to walleye I would rather see someone throw back 20-24 inch fish because they are at their peak breeding time and have a long life ahead. Keeping the grandmas of the fishery shouldn't do as much harm as getting rid of all of your girls in their 20's... I am guilty of not following this but I would not be against a slot limit because of this reason. So I would almost go out on a limb to say a similar prospect would trade through bluegills/crappies but I could be wrong
