Title: Lake Wawasee in Indiana
Post by: Bryan on January 16, 2012, 11:16:57 PM
I know it's not in Ohio...but lets face it, any ice fishing pics are few and far between right now!
A guy I work with sent me this pic, his son in law caught these today, said there was 3" of ice. That big bass was over 4 lbs!

I know.  It's going to be February at this rate if we see any safe ice.  That pic makes me jealous!

My brother lives right down the road from there and I have fished it quite often.  Usually in late winter we catch some big yellow perch up in the shallows under the hard water.  There are also gills, crappie, bass, musky, and some eye's in there.  It's a very fertile lake as are most of the others in that area because they are old glacier made lakes.
