Got on the ice about 9:45 am with Mousejam & my nephew, Derrick. Derrick got a wet foot while stepping onto the ice at C5. Ice thickness was 3-4"

Worst day in 4 treks to Nimmy this season sofar. Only managed to catch & release a dozen dink Gills, 2 undersized Crappie & 1 nice 3lb Bass.

Kept the Heron fed. He must be a low-life.. always looking for a handout!

Fished in with maggots, waxies, various size & color pin-mins, plastics, spoons, ants, etc.. Drilled about 20 holes. Never did find a "Honey-Hole."

The action was almost non-existant. Fished till about 2pm. A few others showed up, but nobody was getting sore arms jerking fish outa the holes.

May try again Friday, 2/22... but the shoreline ice is starting to get weak.

Hope it holds, if we get rain tonight or tomorrow it won't be good.

I just keep score for Ntoicemans 10 to 1 catch ratio. The man could pull a catfish from a glass of water .

thats a shame the fish seem to be sluggish lately  ??? but they hafta eat 8)
