Title: Nice Mess
Post by: Buckeye John on January 12, 2015, 06:27:32 AM
Caught a nice mess of Crappie and hand size Gills yesterday in the Marina. Caught all on White tiger orange belly tungsten gig tipped with a wax worm. Most all fish were right close to the bottom. The bite was very light. Spring Bobber really helped.
Bruce it was in our spot. Thought you might be out there.

Nice job Buckeye John. Did you fish off the docks or could you move around on the ice? What was the ice thickness? Any info greatly appreciated.

I was fishing towards the outer break wall Gas pump side. Ice was between 5 and 6 inches. Hard ice.

Lol. I was out there today. Only 5 over 9.5. Several just at 9. 50 or so non keepers. And a bunch of gills. I used your holes.
