>:( OK, who teed off Mother Nature? Last weekend; a good first ice-2 days of fishing on 5" + of ice here in NW Ohio and now... this Friday: 40 deg, Saturday: 41 & rain, Sunday: 43 & rain, Monday: 60 & rain, Tuesday: 44 deg, Wednesday: 37 deg, Thursday: 47 & rain. :( ???
Talk about a CRUEL JOKE!! This S__T ain't funny..
Oh well, I guess it will be a 2nd first ice.

Don't panic yet guys. The weather men are wrong often enough it might be -5 next week. Lol. But just to be safe I'll be out as much as I can the next few days. Too bad I have a job...

I know. This sucks. Especially after last year. But if we lose our ice, we got out early and we will have second ice soon. The long term has said mid-January-February is supposed to be really really cold!!

... Took a walk out on OSP Tuesday, 12/19 at 5pm just to get my "ice legs" and check things out. Still not 100%, but itching to drill some holes and wet a line. Alot of my gear is loaded and ready to go, just haven't pulled the trigger yet... maybe Thursday evening 12/22... OSP or Nimmy
