Been there  a couple times and have watched a few others.  I haven't seen much of anything going on.  I might be wrong but it seems that the unstable weather put them in a different mindset the last few days.  Good luck!

Docks at Alum are a good bet, the only problem I have is when there are people walking around.  I have found that it definitely hurts the fishing.

I would definitely not trust any ice right now on Alum. A lot of soft water around.  Fished Hoover last night and only saw a couple areas still locked up.

It won't hold anyone this weekend for sure.  I noticed there is a tournament for ice guys at the Marina this weekend.  might want to motor out to a spot and dip.

Found 13 fish over 10 inches yesterday in less than favorable conditions.
