I am looking at putting new line on my ice poles just wondering what line out there is good these days for panfish and eyes, also has anyone tried the NothLand Bionic Ice Fluorcarbin and if so what are your thoughts on it?

I am looking to purchase some new ice poles or maybe even combos at the right price. I have a few poles that the tips are broken so I figure I need to replace them. I have looked at cabelas and gander mountain online but nothing has struck me.
They will be mostly used for pan fish.

Just wondering how the lake is looking, is it locked up and if so anyone know the ice thickness? Any advice for spots to catch some crappie and gills?
Looking to maybe head out next Wednesday after my kids get off to school.

I was out today and blade and screws came off while drilling a hole anyone know of a place that I can buy them at a good price with the screws? I have walmart gifts cards but can't find any 8" blades on their web page.

Was out with my son and a friend today didn't mark a fish the whole time we were out so we packed up and left, we did catch couple small gills at the pond in Loudenville by the pool.

OK Guys I have a huge question of my fellow ice fisherman I am looking to take my 7 yr old son out fishing for his first time on the ice and I would like to make it one that he remembers I am wondering if anyone would be willing to let me use a 2 man or bigger shack on sunday or be willing to do some type of payment plan with me until I get my taxes then pay it off? I am not looking for anything real fancy just something to keep us warm and so he can have fun.
I don't normally ask this type of stuff from others but I wanna make it a good day on the ice for us both.

I have seen this on a few other sites and nothing here. I am looking for those homemade ice fishing products that anyone has made weather it's worked or not maybe we can help and get your broken item working and we need a way to pass time till we get some new ice.

I am wondering if there is any type of structor in this lake that is best to catch crappie,gills or saugeyes?
Since I have never fished this lake I am trying to get a feel for it before heading out I do have a map of the lake but doesnt show any type of underwater structors.

I am looking to fish Charles Mills on Wed 1/9 about 7am I have never been here before and have no idea were to fish looking to see if anyone wants to meetup or if you have another area in mind I might be up for that but I need to be home by 2pm.
