Checked Pleasant Hill see post below for that update, any how shreve lake is almost all the way frozen up few open areas by the drain and far side of the lake put my vex down in a opening on the dock to see what I could find and there was nothing. Anyone ever fish this lake?

I went to check pleasant hill today and it has nice ice by the launch but it's not thick enough yet,I went by the dam and the ice was very nice doesn't look thick yet but most of it is frozen..

I will be getting my wax worm making kit today in hopes of growing my own wax worms instead of buying them, I am also hoping to grow enough to maybe sell some on the side for some extra income but that is down the road aways.

Well guys/gals I found a FREE ice fishing game online I have messed around with it for awhile and it's not bad has good graphics lets you change baits the bad is it's from Germany or some were over seas but hay it's still ice fishing and yes you do have to download it to your computer...

It's called propilkki2

do a search and download it if you wanna burn some time and get you in the fishing mood.

I am looking to take my kayak out on it's first voyage tomorrow possibly depends on weather but just wondering if anyone wants to try with me or knows of a place thats catching some nice crappie or gills?

Well I finally waited and saved some of my pennies and and found a good sale on a kayak at dunham sports paid $229 for a Pelican Ultimate 100 and got a paddle on sale for $30 it retails for $60 I can't wait to get it on the water and go fishing. Anyone been out in their kayak's yet?

I am looking to buy my first Kayak this year and I am looking for a good dealer that will let me try some yak's out to see what one I would like to purchase does anyone know of such places in centeral ohio?
I am hr and half from columbus, 2 hrs from cleveland, 45 mins from Akron/Canton area.

For Sale Sea King 14 FT shallow V fishing boat with 6 horsepower Evenrude motor has 3 bench seats and a trailer to haul it the motor has not been serviced yet this year asking $900 or shoot me a price if you think this is to high.

I am looking for a S.O.T kayak for fishing also a compact pistol for my wife so if anyone wants to do a trade I am open for that also.

I lost the plastic black ball that sits above the float and was wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can make it so the float doesn't go up and the cone stays at one certain depth?

I am looking at doing this real soon but I have no idea if it's cheaper to buy one or make one and if I make one I have no clue were to start at.

Shanty Help / Using a tent as a shack

I am thinking about getting a used cheap tent to use for ice fishing just wondering if anyone has ever used one for fishing or if it's just a stupid idea or would anyone have instructions on how to make my own? I don't have money to spend for a top end shack so I was  thinking this might be a good solution for the time

I am new to this sight and I am very glad I found it I am from Wisconsin moved here about 6 yrs ago and I live in Holmes County I fished my whole life and love ice fishing I am looking for places to fish and people to fish with I am willing to travel for the right area ( wife prob wont like it) I also have 3 boys that would love to try ice fishing is their anyone around my area that can help me out? I do fish the ponds in Coshocton County that are located on Woodbury State Land that's the only place that I am aware of for ponds to fish. Thanks alot for your help
