Title: Kayak Fishing Addiction
Post by: Bowhunter57 on November 05, 2012, 09:42:55 PM
I've had this kayak fishing addition for about 2 years, now and plan on continuing with it. ;D I've seen a lot of guys going this route, due to economy, if for no other reason. It costs too much to feed a p/u truck to pull the boat of choice...and then pay marina fuel prices for the boat too.

A kayak is more stable than a canoe, takes less water to float, can be transported on any vehicle and allow more access to waters that would otherwise be unfishable from the shore. 8)

I have an Eagle fishfinder mounted on my 12' Future Beach Trophy 144, Scotty rod holders and plenty of other amenities to keep me on the water for hours. I built a pvc cart to transport my kayak, in case the water has to be accessed by foot and it has worked out great.

A person can get into one of these for $300 and up.
