Post by: fishslim on December 28, 2010, 10:26:58 PM
Hello to all on site am in my second full ice season fished mainly Indian last 2 seasons for saugeyes. Have been trying home lake Alum this season more trying to find some of those eyeballs,so far just a few small ones. Indian has been dead for eyes will be trying it thursday night depending on weather. Plenty of gills and small crappies so far at Alum been all around lake same everywhere. Will continue to search out those saugeyes though. Love a challenge!! Great looking site and have met a few members out on ice. Good fishing to all and be safe!!

Thanks FishSlim,

Seems like the Saugeye bite has been tuff at all the Lakes. The only Lake that is reporting a good walleye bite is Berlin Lake. Might be worth the drive and we have pro staff up there who would be happy to have you join them.
