I have a pair of the HT slip on cheapy kind. Guaranteed to strain a muscle trying to stretch them over your Mickey Boots. They pop off everytime i walk on water. So my buddy picked up a pair of HT SuperStud Sandle Cleats. They velcro on and off and he never has an issue strapping them to his Mickeys or them popping off as he walks. since they are material and velcro they don't dry rot or tear/break like the rubber stretch-on cleats. Land Big Fish carries them, but are sold out of my size.
Headin to Lake Hamlin near Luddington, Michigan. Rumor has it they have bluegill the size of hubcaps! Leaving Jan 30-Feb 3. Temps are dropping and they already have 3-4" of good ice. Hoping it gets 6" by the time we get there.
If anyone is interested, we are meeting for breakfast at Brimfield Steakhouse Saturday @ 7a.m. Kind of a meet and greet before we venture to CLR/Palm. Just thought I'd extend the invite.
I've been using a Cabelas 5" black/white. Thinking about adding a Marcum Panner so I can zoom around and see 360 degrees. That would be really helpfull this ice season.
