I agree. I don't like to fish from Maumee side. I started fishing the run in 82 and always fish the same side. My spot changes depending on water level.

Buckeye Fishing Charters will be offering guided river fishing trips this spring.
I grew up fishing the Maumee and have 20 plus years fishing the walleye run. Many trophy size fish are caught there each year, I can help you get one..
All you need to bring is a good pair of waders and an Ohio fishing license. I have all the other gear,feel free to bring your own as well.

The water is going to come way up after all this rain. My buddy lives on the river...he said it is very dirty and getting higher. I grew up a few miles from one of the best spots, I would be happy to share some knowledge. [email protected]
