I discovered yesterday tha the hat cam mounts fit most small recording devices, includeing my fuji film digital camera/video recorder, so i bought one, this will allow me to show everyone an accurate video of the days outings. you'll still be able to see Daves (edited) version on the days event, but will also be able to see what really went down (myself outfishing dave). In the past for some reason alot of the fish i caught were edited out and most or all of daves fish made it to the screen. well NO MORE HOLHISLE, NO MORE!

heard of a wind surfer that had to be rescued on wed on the main lake, as i stated previously we only found 2 or less infront of the boat ramp which would have me beleive the main lake is around an inch, in the back of the cove we've been fishing the ice was 4'', i've found in the past if there's 10'' inches on the cove there's only 4'' on the main lake. please be safe!

Russ and i have been discussing worms in fish, he asked what causes this? says he caught some in erie with worms, ive always thought it was a small lake problem, i found a pond a few years back that had monster gills, u couldnt catch one under 10'', i brought 8 home for a meal and when i stuck my filet knife in they were so infested worms were wiggling, does any one know what causes this?

dave and i caught 150 crappies, 2 largemouth 30 gills at alum today we kept 44 over 10'' for a few dinners.

heading to the galena ramp cove today with dave, hopefuly we'll catch some fish, and dave will learn something, i'll keep him busy, baiting hooks and taking fish off MY hook

main lake is still open, 2" of ice infront of galena boat ramp, caught 1 small gill at marina in 1hr.
