Did good today.   On Portage.  Couple nice bass and hit a nice school of 10-12” crappies.   Probably pulled a couple dozen.  Didn’t keep any, didn’t feel like cleaning them!  ;D  Been on and off this year overall though.  Never skunked yet, but some days that were nothing but smalls.

Figured that might happen.  And it’s only going to get slicker as we drop to 10 tonight.  The water will freeze.  But at least we don’t have 12” of snow to deal with! 
I’ll be out Monday and Tuesday for sure!  Can’t tomorrow.  Super Bowl.  😁

There was over 11” on Portage and Walborn this week.   And 10” yesterday on Nesmith.   Only got one bass yesterday and that was it.  But we’ve got another week or 2.

I’ve been out several times.  This year I’ve been bad about posting.   Been hitting Portage and doing well on crappie.   They’re mostly down 4-5’ in 10-15’ of water.  I’ll send you some pics later today.

Yeah!  I hear you there!   The snow needs to melt, or at least the sun hit it so it gets a frozen crust.   Dragging through all this sucks.  I’m not even sure if the Wilcraft will plow through it.  How far up your leg was the snow after last night?

Now that’s a simple and cool idea.  I like it!  Thank you for that tip.  The 1 pound bottles are more simple and convenient to carry than a 5 pounder.
