no fishing today, think i'll head for home depot and pick the stuff up and make a few, give to my fishin buds as a xmas gift, was wondering if you not glue them, and assemble on the ice, easier transport,i'll see if they fit snug enough.

I believe I'm going to make me some as well. I'm going to make all of it permanent except for the bottom braces. That way I can put long ones one for land fishing.

You'd only need two for Ohio - right? Or, would these class as tip-ups if you're using them remote to where you're actually fishing?
Newbie to ice fishing but loving it!

I had trouble finding the 3 way elbow fitting for the legs, finally i had to find and order on line, they are called a pvc furniture fitting, and not for use w/ water applications, hope this helps anyone else who decides to build some. lowes, home depot dont have them.I built mine shorter for bucket or shanty sitting.
