Same here, it's all about the when and where. I finally got some work for the next week and a half and my fishing will be limited the next couple of weeks, and Saturdays are out for me.

With the water coming out of that hole like that and to going down to around 0 last night, you should have plenty of good ice out there today. Spud your way around. Be careful and good fishing.

Ice good today from 4-9" depending on your spot. Fished several different spots and got small crappie. Last spot produced nice ones. Pic is in online tourney topic. All fish in fallen trees in 12-18 feet of water.

I haven't made it there yet since 2nd freeze. Had a friend go yesterday afternoon. 5-8" of good ice. Was fishing by Delroy off of rt. 532. Crappies are hitting well. Hope to try it next week.

Was out today, ice 5-7" thick. Open water under bridge, safe everywhere else. East shoreline very productive on the crappies. Jigs tipped with maggots, fish were in 15 feet of water suspended at 12 feet in and around deadfalls on this shoreline. Caught some nice ones, would have had the lead in online tourney with a 12" crappie but forgot my card to take a picture. Hoping to get out again Friday, can't tomorrow have an OSHA class for work all day. Lake is starting to produce bigger crappies this year. Use caution around the edges, the first 12-18" is a little soft, take a big step and you'll be fine.

Heard that, no work for 6 weeks. Finally got a remodel job for this week, why not a week ago? So I could ice fish this week?

No need for that. I saw the same thing on Berlin earlier this season. It infuriates me, and if I saw who was doing it they would've got an earful, and I would have put the fish back in their hole. We have to protect our resources.

Yea, I don't understand that one either. Anyony know why? Hope to be able to check Deer Creek at end of week, last weekend's warm-up made it unfishable, ice all melted around edges and had rotten spots in middle. My spud went thru first hit over the channel before the warm up.

If good ice is back, Sunday I'll try to hit Berlin for some walleye. If not, hopefully Atwood will be safe by then for some saugeye or crappie.

Ice on Deer Creek not reallly safe after weekend rains in the areas I fish. When it improves, hopefully by the weekend, I'll let everyone know.
