Title: 2 4 1010 report
Post by: davidhoheisel on February 04, 2010, 07:15:49 PM
It was nice meeting and fishing with fellow ifo'ers. I met River Runt and BassnPro.

We had a fun day catching Crappies. CRV took home a dozen over 10 inches. We were fishing at the Galena ramp by the tube. The ice was only 3 1/2 inches thick so be very carefull.

I know that a few guys will be going in the morning so please be carefull.

It was certainly much slower this morning.  I caught a handful, but there were only 4 fish on the ice among 6 people there.  The fish were in there thick still, they just wouldn't bite anything.  The ones that did bite were super light and most of the bites were missed.  Hopefully this snow doesn't hurt the ice too much.
