Fished the 1st pull off at Long Island today. Ice was a very iffy 2 inches. Iced about 50 gills in 2 hours. Kept 10 so-so fish. Did not feel safe walking off with the sun warming the ice at noon.

Risky, but I understand the itch! ;D I did the same thing a couple years ago. Please be careful though, want to fish another day!!
