Title: First Outing
Post by: mbarrett1379 on December 12, 2013, 04:56:24 PM
Finally got on today! 3inches max and not totally safe but
I had all my safety gear. Set up in 11 feet of water and started marking active fish instantly. Caught a few dinks then started marking crappie up 6 feet. Bam big hit, I set the hook, and bam my rod snaps  :-\ Ended up pullling two 12-13 inch crappies out and had to call it a day because that was the only rod I had on me. My best panfish rod! Oh well, Im going to give it a week to let the ice get real thick now that I got my fix out.

Sorry about the your rod. Glad you mad it out safe.

We are having 4 free drawings for 4 Jason Mitchell Rods Saturday the 14 at the Fin Feather Fur. Come on out and maybe you can get that rod replaced.

Also, make sure you download a online entry form and enter your next fish.

Thanks for the update.
