CRV went out to try Buckeye on information from a friend who said his friend called and was out on Fairfeld beach.
We drive over and it was open water. Very disappointed and a waste of the day.
The lake was being drawn down and the water was falling and causing a current.
Buckeye is not safe

Fished the cove next to Fairfield yesterday, was sitting on about 3 inches. Was slow caught 3 wipers.out by the marsh opened up a lot while I was there.
