Title: Bored out of my skull--any ideas?
Post by: slabslayer on January 01, 2014, 12:33:32 PM
Not even a full day in and I'm already going crazy! Didn't realize a torn sternum could hurt this bad! Tried making some lures and it hurt too much to sit at the vice and paint station. Finished the in-fisherman ice annual already and can only stand so much tv! And all the snacks are almost gone till tomorrow morning. My wife made roast beef au juis sandwiches and man are they awesome!! That helps some! ;D Any ideas to help this time pass faster??

That sounds painful! Can't imagine how you did it. Football bowl games start at 1. Check out YouTube videos on ice fishing from In Depth Outdoors and Iceteam. Just a few ideas. It only hurts til you get out fishin...

Just be careful of the funny stuff on you tube .They are great but not worth the pain .

Quality time with the wife.......now bear with me.....once you're ready to roll she can't say we haven't done anything together. Ask her what she wants to do, go to a place she likes then you are home free once we get good ice and you heal

Joe, You mean go again right??? Know a few guys went out for eyes today. Andy from the fall brawl was out of Cleveland on the soft water. Maybe need to call chad and stay warm in the hewes before this weekend! Or just one more date and you should be cleared for the rest of the ice season!
