Post by: handymanjeff on January 05, 2014, 12:45:14 PM
:'(  Ok... enough is a Enough!!! Calling for 12" + of snow today and tonite in NW Ohio before we get lows of -18 and highs of -4 degrees over the next few days. Don't need the snow but bring on the cold. I was destined to be an Eskimo. ;D

Here in Southwest ohio we are having the best scenario possible, RAIN!! Which should get rid of any snow on the lakes and freeze up real good next couple of days

Just watched the news. Looks like less than 2 in in parts of NE Ohio because of the rain. Let's hope so.

;D Well snow is over for NW Ohio after 13". Now the artic blast arrives. Good thing about this artic blast and the winds is: it blew all the snow off my pond so it will really make ice over the next couple of days. Hopefully does the same for Nettle Lake, doubt it will for McKarns and Barton as they are well protected by trees. 10 counties under level 3 snow emergency in NW Ohio. Winds gusting 35 to 40 mph, blowing and drifting. -1degree w/o windchill. ATV will snow blade on it doesn't want to run well with 3' drifts in driveway. ???
