Title: STARTING THEM RIGHT
Post by: ADAD1640 on January 06, 2014, 06:24:47 AM
MY SON CHASE AND I SPENT 7 HOURS FISHING FROM A DOCK IN HIGHLANDTOWN BECAUSE THE ICE WAS 3 AT BEST.  WE GOT 2 BITES AND NEVER CAUGHT A FISH AND HE STILL WAS NOT READY TO LEAVE!! HAD AN AWESOME DAY ANYWAY--BE CARFEUL AND ENJOY--GOT A NEW MARCUM VX 1 AND HE WATCHED IT INTENTLY--SEEING YOU LURE GO UP AND DOWN IS COOL AND YOU CAN EVEN SEE YOUR TINY SPLITSHOT--AMAZING

Awesome, glad he enjoyed it!  Looks like mother nature threw us a bone here in NE Ohio.  that rain coupled with the cold temps with no real snow is going to make one heck of an ice base.  This weekends warm-up I don't think is really going to hurt us after this week, because it drops right back down on Monday.  I'm going to try fishing somewhere today!
