I checked a small private lake (28 acres) on Sunday during the rain. It was mostly open with the exception of skim around the bank. I checked it an hour ago and it has 4.690 in 30' from the bank and 3.610 in the center in 19 FOW neg. temps are awesome! ;D But a pond that had 3.200 Sunday only has 5.062!

My pond had 2" saterday and at 5 pm today it was 7" of ice. 8)

;D I see , thanks for your post . I worked all night and it was brutal , my hands still sting . I'm not surprised at the amount of ice growth . This weekend is another thing.
