Has anyone been over 43 side and if so how thick is the ice??

Just talked to some guys coming in off the west side of 43 by the boat house. They said the ice is 10". I think we are good to go for a while now.

I went out yesterday afternoon.........6" to 8" everywhere I went.  It's time to explore!!!

just wondering if anybody's had a chance to hit west of 43 ?   the weather looks good for this coming weekend,
