Can you fish at night ?
Is the fishing good at night ?

It is for crappies. Never done it at Indian, but have up here at Deer Creek before and done very well on some nice slabs.

Crappie fishing can be better at night than during the day. Some lakes the bluegill bite after dark as well. Often the fishing dies right at dark but then gets good again an hour or two after. Seems they require an adjustment period. Glow jigs w/ waxies/maggots. And never hurts to have a live minnow swimming down there at night to draw them in. Just make sure to know the area well and gps out and back to avoid any weak ice or cracks. There are very few people to help you out if you run into trouble at night.
Given Indian is a shallow lake, you may do better after dark. Less traffic and low light and the crappie should go hunting for food. Check up really high as well 1-2 foor under the ice, I've seen them through the hole under the ice in clear conditions.
