this blows   3 day weekend and freaking wind is screwing it up.  normally done mind it but these wind chills are more than i can take

Ha! this blows. ;D  it will be tough out there.  Shanty anchors and a partner to hold the shack while you get it held down.  Pick locations where you can catch a break from the worst of it.

My shanty took a beating last Suncday.

2 anchors weren't enough to hold my flip Clam Nanook last week.. My poles were bending, but luckily didnt ruin any of them.

will have to use an additional pair when I venture out this weekend.

I was taking down my pop up shanty yesterday when it took off on me. Just by reaction I went to chase it and my right leg went into one of my holes I drilled.  Leg is sore today and bruised up pretty good.  Lesson learned...look before you chase after your shanty.

been there done that  :P chased my hut across mogadore one day , now I always tie my pop up down before I open it up   ;D ;D
