Title: took mom fishing today

Took my mom fishing today and she caught a 28" walleye! Her fish even won the largest fish contest at the local bar tonight! Gotta love living in a fishing community!

What a great way to sped quality time together with your mother! I hope you both had fun and that she will share some fillets with you.

Awesome! My mom is 65 and got here to tag along on a youth turkey hunt this past spring. She loved it and had a blast. No way I can get here on the ice😄 Way to go mom!!

Thanks for the kind words fellas! Well she out fished me this weekend! My biggest fish was 2" shorter than hers coming in at 26". Had lots of fun, and that big fish fish almost got away...after it bit, I set the hook and first crank the line snapped (which was new BTW). Dumbfounded, my first thought was it snapped at the jig, well I looked down at the hole and seen fishing line coiled up on the surface of the water..I reached down and grabbed it and by God the fish was on the other end! I looked like the guys from "Swamp People" pulling that line in hand over hand! Though I was gonna have to choot it for a minute! Got the fish and my Swedish Pimple back...it was a good day tater!

HAHAHA! That was hers! I drink Southern Comfort and coke! She did admit to having a slight headache this morning after too much celebrating at the walleye contest last night! But I didn't tell you that! LOL!

Thanks Snowcone! We were 1.1 miles west of Middle Bass, and about 1/3 of a mile north of Rattlesnake.
