Post by: pig puncher on January 30, 2010, 07:47:33 PM: went to knox lake today. wind was brutal! had a little trouble getting anchored down,but once we did, it sure was good to get on the ice again. the bite was the same as its been for me all season. lots of lookers but few biters. hooked a heavy fish, (brobably a cat) on a tip up, but it got hung up on a snag >:(. lost a sweedish pimple on another fish with an overkill hookset. ice was 6 inches in the shallow end, but the deep end still had open water. ice was really talkin when we left, so it's gonna get better. ;D son in law beat me today. nothing worth keeping, but we caught fish and had fun.
