I would like to thank all the members and Pro Staff for contributing to the site.

This site is only successful because of your posts and wanting to help spread knowledge to help others catch more fish safely through the ice!

Thanks,

David

Hey All!
Ice in Minnesota is 'bring your your auger extension' thick. Problem is....so is the snow. Also slush between the snow and ice. Pretty tough going here, limited places to fish. But fishing anywhere/anytime is better than than being somewhere/anywhere else. Good luck folks! And be safe.

I agree with bcann.  As an ice fishing newbie I am very glad I found this site.  It is great to see all the info and hopefully as I learn more I can provide some helpful info in the future.

Thanks Guy's,

It is nice to hear that the site is helpful to new members. That is why we started the site. We don't get that much feedback so it is good to hear. Welcome aboard.

As far as the ice on Mosquito goes I would check that board for posts or call the causeway sporting goods for ice info. I am 3 hours away so i am not up on what the weather has done to the ice. Even if it is safe please take all safety equipment because this is a dangerous time of year with run off creating thin ice.

I'll do my best and will try to get Joe "The Ice Man" Pikulski to make an appearance on the ice with us at my private spot. He owes me a big favor, so we'll see what happens.............Mark
