Title: Buckeye on 2 10
Post by: davidhoheisel on February 10, 2014, 10:18:46 AM
I had a great day on Sunday. I caught five keepers and 6 shorts. The master taught the student (CRV) another lesson. He had only 2 small keepers ;D
We were in 7 feet of water and i caught them all on the new Clam Psycho Shad in Gold and in Perch color.
I think I have found a great new bait!

He forgot to mention I was already on the spot before he got there, told him to drill 5 feet from me, and told him to put gold on. You can put a pile of acorns on a blind squirrels plate but they can't see you do it so you might not get a thank you. ;)

He had to have me five feet away so he could get the lesson. ;D

Good job. Glad someone is catching fish. How is your Jason Mitchell shanty working out for you Dave?

I truly love it. It is the perfect size and the thermal cover is great. Worth the money.

I love fishing buckeye. Enjoy seeing crv throwing them on the ice. I'm certainly learning. Only wish the lake was closer. Definitely worth the drive though. Wish alum was half as good.
