Title: Rocky Fork
Post by: Pondfin@ic on February 11, 2014, 09:14:07 AM
Had 9+ inches on Rocky Fork on Sunday off the boat docks at the marina clear to the island. Picked up a few short and 1 keeper crappie. Drilled lots of holes from 4' to nearly 40'. All the fish came from 12-15' suspended over 36'. Very slow fishing, many lookers few takers. Two were on a forage minnow tipped with a wax worm. One on jigging Rapala. Two Jaw Jackers robbed of jigs tipped with minnows due to holes filling up with blowing snow.

I went there Friday. Fishing was slow. Tried the west side and the east side marina. Caught 1 white bass. Was not marking much on the flasher. Was thinking they might be vacationing in Florida.
