Title: Perch near Catawba?
Post by: llw on February 12, 2014, 08:20:00 PM
Has anyone had good luck catching perch near Catawba? I have heard rumblings about Miller boat line but nothing specific. Thanks in advance.

caught some n/ne off millers yesterday. lot of current there, was using 3/8 oz. castmaster, anything smaller would be pushed out of sight of fishfinder. I was targeting eyes and marked more but they would shy away from that big of lure

Thanks threeten. How was the ice? Seems like that current could be making things risky.

ice is definitely thinner there. not a lot of clear ice, more white ice. guys still out there but use caution. still 10-12"

Thanks for the report.
I was thinking about heading up this Tuesday for walleye.
