Title: OK...now I'm ready for ice!
Post by: Bryan on November 15, 2014, 02:39:59 PM
Pulled my boat this morning after one last final run for the season. Over 110 walleye were brought over her gunnels this year, going to try for 150 next year! So...now lets start thinking ice! (http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q116/Piper_pilot/20141115_115910.jpg)

I have run a lot of charters on a marinette. Boats are built great and will last forever if you take care of them. I just don't like playing in big waves with them, but who likes playing with big waves! Haha! Have you been fishing at night at all out there Bryan

I was in Marblehead this weekend winterizing my buddy's boat and the owner came in. I said what is with that Grady White? He said older fellow has not had it out in three years. I want a price on that. It was flawless.

Snowcone...nice boat! How do you like that Nissan kicker? I've thought about buying one to put on my boat to save from having to run the big engine.
Thanks Slabslayer!
Johnie...I haven't. I've had too many projects going on and just plain wiped out come night time! Besides...I've got plenty of walleye in the freezer to hold me over till ice fishing! I've had that boat in some nasty weather, she does pretty good...no complaints from me!

that Nissan 5 hp 4 stroke is great , a real work horse and uses very little gas . I wish it had 2 cyls . because it shakes at lowest idle..but still great ...trolls my 16.5 crestliner at 1.5 too 2 mph at just above idle
