My cabin fever has kicked in already and I need to get outside. Where should I go that is within 1 hour of Lorain County? I'm not really targeting any specific fish, I just want solid ice under my feet.

Hey Mike not 100 percent about lorain county is it near Lorain the city

Hey Mike I'd suggest Spencer lake shure to be good ice may be a lil more than an hour tho Ashland area good numbers of nice gills which is what locals target most crappie are undersized but the reward is there if u sort thru em follow the packs they should be a short walk right off the access road that divides the lake north ? Side I believe best luck was green chart glo jigs charge them if u can after 3pm n tip with minnow heads whole minnows seems to be too much the bites continues on well after dark plenty of numbers for a novice
