I know the posting is a little late, but I fished North Fork friday, the bite was an unusual all day bite for the eyes, but the size was very small. I eventually caught 3 nice eyes but all 3 came in 10' of water and they were suspended at 5'. Without the aid of my vexilar I would have never caught them. The small eyes were hounding the bottom and bit all day ,but with my 3 and the few other ones caught there, we all noticed the same, the bigger ones were suspended and still hit a vibe e. BTW the biggest was 3lbs.
