Title: Camp perry
Post by: E- man on January 24, 2015, 11:00:39 AM
Fished Fri 23rd about 3mi out. didn't catch anything but ice was good (8" or so). Reports were some guys did OK depending on where you stopped. Most agreed a very slow bite. A lot of lookers. There were a lot of guys that walked out a mile or so but I don't know if they did any good. Most of the guys were out farther.

Thanks for the report E-man. I am planning a walk out of Catawba this upcoming week. I'm going to see how much snow we get and the wind conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday.

good to here from you icetester. the bite is slow right now. Day break and just before dark is your best bet. really spotty the rest of the day. Doesn't mean they won't turn on at any time. You know how that goes. They were doing real well out of Catawba about a week ago. Quite a few guys getting quick limits. All about timing I guess. Something I have to get better at. Got a couple guys out today & tomorrow, will let you know how they do. Good luck and be safe. Ernie
