Wanting to go to Catawba or casmp Perry depending on the bite. How far out and any go to baits. Thanks

The bite is on and off like always. You have to move around to find the fish. My buddy in Marblehead caught 21 in 3 1/2 hrs. one day and only 1 on Fri. But the one Friday was 33 in. long and weighed 15.15 lbs. They have been going 2-3 miles west out of Catawba.

Right now I would say it's a lot more off, give it a few days and they will be hungry again.

Going out with Captain John on 2/13. Hoping they are biting strong by then.

We left out of catawba by the boat launch, there is a link to him on this site under DB charters!

Yep. Last time I talked to Captain John he was going out of Catawba.
