We fish sat and Sunday and it was slow for us, 3 fish sat and fished til 11 Sunday with no takers. We ended up running to camp perry from the Catwaba area to get our fish Saturday. Sunday was slower everywhere it seemed, few guys got limits out of Catwaba Saturday and a whole bunch of limits out of camp perry.

Was good where we drilled bout 9", not sure how it was from launch, we drove from Catwaba on the ice.

Thanks again eyewall for letting us tag along heading out saturday. Wel be there saturday mid day Gona try the evening bite. Hope that rain they are calling for Thursday dosnt take to much snow away for us guys with snowmobiles.

SOME guys got limits Saturday. Still a lot of struggling going on this year we had a great day Saturday and whacked perch on Sunday but it is back to normal. Last year spoiled too many people into thinking its so easy and anyone can do it. Use your head and be mobile and there are fish to be caught. Can take all day to find it. Lipripper, we are getting one to three on Thursday and some more on Sunday. Should be good with more cold temps coming!

Nice fish Jonny. What was the hot lure for the perch and did you catch them in the lake or Sandusky Bay? Sure do miss your videos, they were enjoyable and informative. Good luck.

Thanks! I wish I had time to do them. Perch were liking a buckshot spoon with all hooks with piece of minnow on them. I fished old bay bridge on north side. It has been a good year for perch all over the bay. Springs can just get too crowded!

That's cool a steelhead. Don't see many of them coming out of the Western Basin off the ice. Lilripper anytime man. I will be out this fri, sat, and Sunday. We will stay in touch. Good job on the fish Jonny.

Thanks Jonny. Planning on coming up next weekend. Would like to catch some perch if the eyes are slow. What depth were you fishing?
