ended up getting out 3:45 left 7:45 bout 4 hrs ice was expanding like crazy after 6 felt like earthquakes under our feet exspansion pushes all over saw a fourwheeler going in near dark if considering to bringing sno gos out this weekend same about 5 inches maybe 6 where i fished 2 throwback eyes 1 channel 2 keeper gills 2 nice crappie fun night no worries weekends gonna be nice but i encourage you to check ur own path lots of new pushes

So is buckeye ice like erie? Shoves and cracks? I have never been there before. Thinking of trying it this year.

Yeah it does get some cracks no big shoves really but I didn't see any sketchy ones n saw a four wheeler run all over today's rain could effect it but temps should keep it relatively solid

I am in NE Ohio outside of Akron. I fish Erie some in the winter when I can.
