I grew up 60 miles from Devils Lake, so would love to go up sometime for ice fishing. I've fished mostly local the last years here. Just fished Devils Lake a couple summers ago.

4 of us drove up to Green Bay (9 hrs) fishing with Bret Alexander for whitefish and walleyes back in January, the whitefishing was spectacular and we got there the week before the big walleyes showed up, LOL that's fishing!! Next year running to Milwaukee area,

It's hard for me to travel far when Alum Creek is 100 yards from my front door, but I have traveled to northern Wisc. to fish with a buddy of mine who lives there.

Devils lake, ND and Lake Simcoe, Ontario Canada both rule for nice perch. Fished a lake in western pa that had some huge jumbo perch too. Many trips made to Michigan for panfish and pike in various locations.
