Title: Anyone setting out from Miller launch?
Post by: finkenov on March 06, 2015, 08:49:35 AM: Are any folks setting out from Miller Launch, rather than Catawba? I ask because I'm fixing to walk out on Saturday but it sounds like parking at Catawba will be maxed out hours before I can get started.

Post by: PLXiceman on March 06, 2015, 12:21:28 PM: I personally avoid that area like the plague. There was just enough warm up earlier this week to thin the ice over there. Stick with catawba and park on the ice if you have to. Reports of a lot of current in the Miller area this past week too. Be safe and good luck!
