Hope the weather predictions are right. Sat. the 19th is supposed to be a high of 33. Things may be looking up.

I sure hope so G,this weather right now is depressing .

It's good if you are working. Ha ha

I sure hope the forecast is correct. im looking forward to starting out at Mosquito and chasing some walleye.

First time I've been pouring concrete in December outside and not having to cover it. Nice for work but I'm ready for an ice fishing break! !

Looks like the weekend weather is just another tease. It's supposed to get back into the 50's again next week. Aw moose poop (excuse my swearing).
-
This makes me sick...

I'll go out on a limb and say last week of January for safe ice. In Ohio.

Saw guy that's honestly what I was thinking. I'm hoping for sooner, but looking at weather patterns and all the forecasts as well as maps from 4 years ago when it was 60 in December it looks like end of January or first of February. I just hope Erie freezes at all. We'll get on inland, but the big pond might be iffy if it doesn't change soon. :(

With God anything is possible....without fairly high changes in forecasts a fork goes into Erie unless something miraculous happens Id rather have no ice on Erie than just enough for some people to risk theirs lives...which is what I fear will happen if Erie gets any ice at all this year

I was just thinkin about the big pond not freezing, :'( but since I'm ready for spring my boat is smiling 8)
