I used to get these when i lived in michigan,to fish st. clair for perch,have never seen them sold in ohio,anyone know why?

I heard one place cornered the market and that was why prices went up a few years back. Some of the places that were there habitat was lost to development. If you do it search on eBay you will find some at reasonable prices. I just haven't pulled the trigger because of the weather.
