Post by: wis2ohio on January 20, 2016, 12:08:58 PM
So I'm wondering is it possible to still catch crappie minnows in a steam that one has caught then before?

Same areas where they would be in summer. Just put out a minnow trap but yes normally deeper.

yeah theres no where to go..  I have a little trick with my minnow traps, there are the fold in half type tapered ....open trap and string a wire on one side of opening up and down so when ya close trap its in the middle, take a slice of bread and fold it on the wire a few times squeezing real hard onto the wire, let dry while you go out to set them ,,,keeps bait more in trap I get more mins that way

I have an oval type basket that has small holes on each side and a clip that holds the baskets together.
I normally use a small cup and fill it with dog food it lasts a few days
