Title: Tense night

The first 50 feet of shoreline went fast today and unfortunately a couple people found out the hard way. Glad they are safe and home with their families. We were on 5-6 inches but by 5 pm it had all honeycombed and one thunk of the spud was going through. Big thanks to Grant and Jerrod for leading the way tonight! Everyone please be careful! No fish is worth the risk!! This was at buckeye.

Breaking through is not fun, I know unfortunately. Just glad everyone is safe!

Glad we all made it safely. Figures it happened right after I caught a keeper saugeye. Thankfully we all made it in so we can do it all again, just not in the near future. Always glad to help when possible.

Grant I must have just missed you! I left the ice at 3:30pm. David said you were coming over the the lake.
