After fishing loramie today I came back to grand lake to scout a few spots. There were a few hole here and there but drilled some of my own to check ice and most of it was 3-4.5 inches. I'm gonna try it in the morning so if anyone knows where the fish are then spill the beans lol.

There is still ice on the open lake from what I could see at early dark thirty this morning, even after the monsoon rain and wind we had yesterday. I hope you were able to get out and stay put over your holes. I also hope you found biting fish, something I have not been to successful at lately.
