Title: Get Ready For Round 3!
Post by: slabslayer on January 12, 2017, 09:18:38 AM
Round 2 is done here in NE Ohio. Never saw this much water in my yard. Every bit of snow and ice on my driveway from plowing and on my neighbors pond is all gone. I'm sure that all the lakes are toast as well. Now we can clean and reorganize our gear and get ready for that frigid month of February and round 3!!!!!

I might be unemployed if we get any more ice this year. Lol. I just took off three days this week so I could get some time on the ice. Add that to the couple days I took off for first ice. I've called in more in the last month than I had in the last 2 years. I think I was having a mid ice crisis. It's like a mid life crisis but with fish. I'd get home from the lake, lay down and be seeing big saugeye marks on my lowrance when I closed my eyes. I couldn't wait to get up and go back. I was completely obsessed. It was getting to be a real problem.
I can't wait until we get more ice so I can do it again...

I am definitely ready for round 3 of ice. Every winter it seems I get an extreme case of walleye and saugeye fever. It is easy to catch but extremely difficult to get rid of.
