Title: Sandusky Bay Ice Conditions?

Anybody have an ice report for Sandusky Bay? It's over an hour drive for me, so I don't want to come up if it's not do-able. I know no ice is "safe" and I have all the safety gear (float suit, picks, spud, cleats). I've never fished up there, but would love a mess of perch. I've got an Otter XTH Resort, heater, etc. if anyone wants to show me the ropes, I'd be happy to bring the gear!

Satellite shows the bay locked up and I have a FB group for sandusky bay and a local up there confirmed that it is locked up and people have been fishing whites landing. Thinking about a trip up if I can get some more reports. There are walleye in there this time of year.
